Security Code

It guarantees that you physically have the card when you order and ensures that fraudulent orders cannot be placed with your card number alone.
Verified by Visa and MasterCard® SecureCodeTM

When you are entering your payment details on our website, a box will pop up giving you the option to register with either Verified by Visa (for Visa cards) or MasterCard® SecureCodeTM (for MasterCard and Maestro cards) or to sign into them if you have already registered.

We can not notify you why your card payments have been declined as the payment process involves both our system and your bank’s.
In the first place, you should double check you have entered all the details correctly.
Make sure that your card has not expired.
Did you enter the correct billing address at checkout, as it appears on your bank or credit statement.
If however your billing address is wrong it will cause your payment to fail. This is a security measure banks put in place to protect your security.
If all else fails then please try an alternative card for payment – we accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as PayPal.
By using the website you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or, if you are under 18, that you are accessing the website with the consent of your parent or guardian. We do not sell products to children, but we do sell children’s products for purchase by adults.

Accessing secure pages
It may be that there’s a firewall blocking your access to secure pages. Some businesses or networks use firewalls to moderate the content employees or users can see. Try contacting your IT team to request access.

Finding your card’s security code
On most credit and debit cards, this code is found on the reverse of your card. Take the last three digits of the number on your signature strip – that should be it. On American Express cards, look for a four-digit number on the front.

Verified by Visa & Mastercard SecureCode
If you’re having issues with your password for this, you’ll need to contact your card-issuing bank. We don’t have access to any of your account information for Visa and Mastercard SecureCode.

Changes To Shopping Online – Introducing Strong Customer Authentication (SCA)
This is good news to all online shoppers. Coming soon you may notice extra security checks on some purchases over £25 due to changes in the law. This is called Strong Customer Authentication. Which will be for every online seller. You may now be asked to authenticate your purchase by entering a passcode or password, which your bank will send to your mobile phone, email or landline. These extra checks are to help protect you from fraud, by helping your bank make sure that it really is you when your card is being used online.

You can help your checkout go smoothly by ensuring that your bank has your current phone number in order to send you the passcode to enter at checkout.
