We accept most major credit and debit cards. We also accept PayPal, if you are a PayPal account holder.
Payment cards accepted are as follows:
Visa Credit Card
Visa Debit (Delta)
We are also enrolled in the 3D Secure initiative
3D Secure is a culmination of Verified by Visa (VbV) and MasterCard Secure Code (MSC). It is the latest fraud prevention initiative launched by card schemes as a more secure method for authenticating the shopper at the time of the transaction.
3D Secure is initiated on this Web site and interacts with both the cardholder and their card issuer. When a customer checks out, an in-line window appears asking them to enter a unique, personal code that has been registered with their bank. The bank then authenticates the cardholder and provides the electronic retailer evidence of the online purchase. It sounds pretty simple—and it is. Most of all, it’s extremely effective.
PayPal is a highly trusted online payment card processor, securely processes our credit and debit card payments processing millions of secure payments every month.
All Transactions are processed via a secure server using an encrypted connection. We use the latest 256 bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology, which ensures that any communications between your computer and our servers are secure and protected.

Your online security
Every time Unique gifts on the web receive your order, we use fraud checking systems as well as authentication processes before we fulfil any order for your protection.
When you use our website, the secure server will encrypt all of the personal information you send us, including credit or debit card number, your name and address. Encryption turns the information you enter into bits of code which are then securely transmitted to us over the Internet.
We take all reasonable measures to keep your personal information, order and payment details secure. However, cannot be held liable if an event beyond our control results in loss to you.
Payment card security

These are called Validation checks
All credit and charge card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery. In addition, in the interests of preventing fraudulent use of credit, debit and charge cards, Unique gifts on the web will validate the names, addresses and other information supplied during the order process against commercially available records (e.g Electoral Roll data, Credit Reference Services). A third party may also be instructed to complete these checks. By ordering from the Unique gifts on the web website you consent to such checks being made. We may need to contact you by letter, telephone or email to verify details before we are able to process and dispatch your order or we may be unable to accept your order. Any information given may be disclosed to a registered Credit Reference Agency which may keep a record of the information. All information provided will be treated in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. These measures are taken as extra protection for you, to ensure your online shopping experience with us is as safe and secure as possible.
We will ask for your security code when you enter your card details. This is the last three digits on the signature strip on the back of your credit or Maestro card. It guarantees that you physically have the card when you order and ensures that fraudulent orders cannot be placed with your card number alone.
Verified by Visa and MasterCard® SecureCodeTM
When you are entering your payment details on our website, a box will pop up giving you the option to register with either Verified by Visa (for Visa cards) or MasterCard® SecureCodeTM (for MasterCard and Maestro cards) or to sign into them if you have already registered.
Why has my payment been declined?
We can not notify you why your card payments have been declined as the payment process involves both our system and your bank’s.
In the first place, you should double check you have entered all the details correctly.
Make sure that your card has not expired.
Did you enter the correct billing address at checkout, as it appears on your bank or credit statement.
If however your billing address is wrong it will cause your payment to fail. This is a security measure banks put in place to protect your security.
If all else fails then please try an alternative card for payment - we accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as PayPal.
By using the website you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or, if you are under 18, that you are accessing the website with the consent of your parent or guardian. We do not sell products to children, but we do sell children's products for purchase by adults.
Accessing secure pages
It may be that there’s a firewall blocking your access to secure pages. Some businesses or networks use firewalls to moderate the content employees or users can see. Try contacting your IT team to request access.
Finding your card's security code
On most credit and debit cards, this code is found on the reverse of your card. Take the last three digits of the number on your signature strip – that should be it. On American Express cards, look for a four-digit number on the front.
Verified by Visa & Mastercard SecureCode
If you’re having issues with your password for this, you’ll need to contact your card-issuing bank. We don’t have access to any of your account information for Visa and Mastercard SecureCode.
We never see your payment details!
